If your chimney lacks this component, we can arrange to mount a flue tile securely to the chimney’s top with a crown. If this isn’t your preferred solution, we also offer the option of installing a Custom Chimney Cap, with some restrictions that may apply.

SOME SMOKE PROBLEMS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH A CAP OR WIND AND MORE TO DO WITH THE HEIGHT OF THE OPENING OF THE FIREPLACE. A WIND CAP WILL NOT DO ANYTHING FOR THAT UNLESS YOU ALSO LIVE ON A HILL OR VERY WINDY AREA WITH NO WIND BREAKS. THERE ARE OTHER PRODUCTS FOR THAT SMOKE PROBLEM THAT WE CAN INSTALL.
THE TOP CLOSING CAPS ARE COVERED BY A MANUFACTURER’S LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY. IT COVERS THE CAP SO LONG AS THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER RESIDES OR OWNS THE HOME IT IS INSTALLED ON ONLY. IT IS NOT TRANSFERABLE BETWEEN NEW HOMEOWNERS OR LOCATIONS.
